“THE SNAKE WITH SEVEN HEADS”

On Friday the 17th of December at Beehive Theatre Company we were treated to a wonderful African show, which was the result of a 10 hour Theatre/Dance/Music/Singing workshop with Marie-Helene Kane and Nuru Kane and Beehive staff.

The very talented children performed and African story with African music, singing and dancing.

The live music by Nuru Kane and Malcolm George rolled gently along as the children pulsed, twirled and swayed, sharing with us the story of a young husband who had been turned into a seven-headed serpent.

The costumes by Veronique Gerber were wonderful creations and the lights added to the magical atmosphere.

This once off show was very enjoyable for both actors and audience and I’m sure everybody would have gladly seen the show twice.
